A Week of Milestones and Memories: College Visits, Academic Achievements, and Prom Night

Hey everyone, buckle up because this week has been an absolute whirlwind of adventures and milestones. From college visits to state finals, academic accolades, and the unforgettable prom night, join me as I recount the jam-packed events of the past few days.

Exploring College Options:

The week began with a pivotal decision as we embarked on a journey to visit potential colleges. First stop: Texas A&M University. With the help of my twin's friend as our guide, we toured the campus before heading off to support our girls' and guys' teams in the state finals. Though the results were mixed, the experience was unforgettable.

Discovering Indiana University:

Next, it was off to Indianapolis, Indiana, where we explored the stunning campus of Indiana University. From the grandeur of the Memorial Union to the charming streets of Bloomington, every step left me more enamored with the university. After attending academic sessions and guided tours, I knew in my heart that I had found my future home.

Celebrating Academic Achievements:

Amidst the college visits, I had the honor of being recognized at the senior awards ceremony for achieving AP Scholar with Distinction status. It was a moment of pride and joy as I celebrated alongside my peers, reflecting on the hard work and dedication that led to this achievement.

Final Presentation Night:

Friday marked the culmination of months of hard work as we showcased our final projects at the ISM final presentation night. From engaging in gallery walks to delivering a 30-minute presentation, it was a night filled with passion, pride, and accomplishment.

Unforgettable Prom Night:

The week ended on a high note with the much-anticipated prom night. From early morning preparations to getting dolled up with the help of a makeup artist, the day was filled with excitement and anticipation. Despite the rain, we arrived at the venue early, seizing the opportunity to capture unforgettable moments and create lasting memories. As the night unfolded with laughter, dancing, and the crowning of prom king and queen, it truly felt like a scene from a teenage movie.
