Hey everyone, it's been quite the week filled with endings and new beginnings. Join me as I reflect on the bittersweet moments of saying goodbye to one chapter while eagerly anticipating the start of another.
Saying Goodbye to My Barista Job:
After almost a year of serving up coffee and lattes, I made the tough decision to bid farewell to my barista job. As my two weeks came to an end, I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. However, with upcoming commitments like DECA international competition, prom, and graduation on the horizon, I knew it was time to prioritize my studies and extracurriculars. Though it's sad to leave, I'm excited for what lies ahead.
Prepping for Prom:
Amidst the farewells, I also found myself diving into preparations for prom. From taking my dress to the tailor for alterations (who knew tailoring could be so pricey?) to envisioning the magical night ahead, the excitement for prom night is palpable.
College Acceptance Revelations:
In the midst of transitions, I also received some news on the college front. With bated breath, I opened my acceptance letters, only to find a mix of outcomes. While the rejections from NYU and the University of Michigan stung, the acceptances from Indiana University, A&M, and Fordham University offered a glimmer of hope. Now, I find myself at a crossroads, pondering the next chapter of my academic journey.
