Finals Triumphs, Hanukkah Lights, and Hunger Games Nostalgia: A Week Unveiled

Hello, amazing readers! It's that time again, where I unravel the tales of my week – finals, hair transformations, and a dash of dystopian nostalgia. Let's jump in!

Academic Victories:

Finals week hit like a storm, but I emerged victorious. A 98 on my World Literature final and a perfect 100 on the American Government final had me doing a little happy dance. The joy continued with a solid 94 on my World Lit research paper and another perfect score of 100, on the research paper in Government class. With my college classes officially wrapped up, the mornings are now time for relaxation and occasional productivity.

Hanukkah Lights and Original Work:

In the midst of finals chaos, Hanukkah made its grand entrance, filling my evenings with the warm glow of candles and the joy of celebration. As I soak in the festival of lights, I'm knee-deep in finalizing my Original Work for ISM. Plans are in motion to print out my binder, and I'm so excited! Lots to get done, but the finish line is within sight.

Style Refresh and Movie Magic:

A much-needed haircut brought a touch of freshness to my week, setting the stage for an upcoming adventure – my first-ever hair dye as a balayage in January. Change is in the air! Speaking of change, I caught the new Hunger Games movie, "The Ballad of Song Birds and Snakes," and it was nothing short of spectacular. Rachel Zegler's enchanting performance, coupled with breathtaking cinematography, transported me back to the world of Panem. It may or may not have inspired me to rewatch the series.

Amidst grading sessions and project preparations, the countdown to Winter break has officially begun – only two weeks to go! Excitement bubbles as visions of relaxation, festive cheer, and a well-deserved break dance in my head.

So, there you have it – a snapshot of my busy week. Until next time,

-Samantha Stein
